Position Summary

The Account Executive for this position is responsible for selling Fatbeam services for our Enterprise sector in the Auburn/Western WA territories. This is a field position and will work from a home office, therefore travel is required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Build market position by working vertical markets, developing partnerships, and being visible in the

business community

  • Keep abreast of current technology trends
  • Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers 
  • Leverage the CRM system (salesforce) to develop prospecting and sales strategy that ensures high activity and effective closing ratios 
  • Design customized, cost-effective solutions for the client
  • Manage a territory using technology, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Keep CRM up to date
  • Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the organization to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship
  • Share competitive analysis with sales and marketing teams

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Broad experience in sales and marketing, preferably in telecommunications
  • Ability to communicate professionally internally and externally 
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Technical aptitude and strong computer skills
  • Solid work ethic and good organization skills
  • Must be creative and passionate about problem solving 
  • This is a full-time, salaried position: 40 Hours per week
  • Some travel necessary

VP of OSP Construction (Coeur d’Alene, ID)

Position Summary

The VP of OSP Construction requires experience with outside plant cable construction for both commercial and FTTH construction, with a thorough knowledge of all issues related to local and state permitting, pole and conduit licensing procedures from Utilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role will include the day-to-day responsibilities of engineering, construction, program and project management, strategic relationships, and network expansion responsibilities. Execute due diligence inspections, contracts, order changes, and project cost estimates. Manage and coordinate land entitlement and construction development projects.


Position Responsibilities

  • The physical deployment of Fatbeam’s fiber optic network in all markets.
  • Responsible for management of all network projects from scope validation, date management, milestone management, and all communication.
  • Outside plant construction services including, permit applications, right-of-way, and fiber inventory of Fatbeam’s network.
  • Manage Business Development, Operations, and Preconstruction/Estimating teams
  • Strategy formation and business planning- develop annual business plans
  • Market segmentation strategies as required to develop a competitive advantage
  • Develop and manage key client relationships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders and clients
  • Liaison with President, Risk Management, and Project Controls on the project approval process
  • Management of multiple Project Directors
  • Prepare Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast for Business Unit

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Basic accounting or finance knowledge
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills by using persistence and ability to overcome obstacles
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • PMP or CCM credentialed or in the process of obtaining and will have completed within the first 120 days of employment
  • A valid driver’s license required

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience with 10+ years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of Outside Plant (aerial and underground) and Inside Plant construction techniques 
  • Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing Grounding and Bonding Tests, RF Sweep test, OTDR, Optical Power Meter and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing preferred
  • Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards preferred
  • Complete understanding of the construction industry
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of financial operations
  • Proven risk management and contracting knowledge
  • Excellent management skills
  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities
